Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Absolutely! I'll help you every step of the way. Once your session is booked, I'll send over a detailed guide with outfit inspiration, location ideas, and tips to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We'll chat about your vision, the vibe you're going for, and what time of day brings the best light for your location. My goal is to make planning easy and the experience fun - so you can focus on each other while I handle the details.

2. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I completely understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 7 days' notice for portrait or engagement sessions and 30 days' notice for weddings. Your retainer will transfer to the new date on time at no cost, as long as I'm available.


If you need to cancel altogether, the retainer is non-refundable since it holds your date and covers planning time. If the session is canceled with more than 30 days' notice, any additional payments (beyond the retainer) will be refunded.

3. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

All of my collections include fully edited, high-resolution digital files delivered through a private online gallery - so you can download, share, and print your images freely. I also offer professional-quality prints and heirloom albums that can be ordered directly through your gallery. Every photo you receive is yours to keep, beautifully preserved and ready to relive forever.

4. What payment methods do you accept? Do you offer payment plans?

I accept credit and debit cards via secure online invoice, as well as Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo.


A retainer is required at booking to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due before the session or wedding day (exact timing outlined in your contract).


At this time, monthly payment plans are not offered. Payments are accepted only as the 50% retainer and final balance.

5. CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE SESSION?

Absolutley! I love getting to know my clients before we start shooting - it helps you feel more comfortable and allows me to understand your vision and personality. For weddings and engagement sessions, I offer a planning call or video chat so we can go over details, timeline, and any inspiration you have in mind. For portraits, I'm always happy to chat by phone or email beforehand to make sure everything feels easy and relaxed.

6. HOW LONG TILL I RECEIVE THE FINAL PHOTOS?

For portrait and engagement sessions, you can expect your full gallery within 2-3 weeks. Wedding galleries are typically delivered within 12 weeks, depending on the season. I personally edit every image by hand to ensure your photos receive the time and care they deserve before delivery.

7. How do we book and secure our date?

We’ll start by going over your coverage goals - how many hours you’d like and what moments are most important to you. From there, I’ll customize a package specifically to your needs. Once everything feels right, I’ll send over your client portal, which includes your contract and invoice. To officially reserve your date, a 50% retainer is required, and the remaining balance is due one week before your wedding day. That’s it - once those steps are done, your date is fully secured!

8. How far in advance should we book?

For weddings, it’s best to book as soon as you have your date set so I can make sure it’s still available - many couples reach out a few months ahead. Engagement sessions are more flexible and can usually be scheduled within a few weeks’ notice, depending on my availability.
